Upon your first inquiry, through the booking process, and up until the day of your trip, Trout Chasers will keep in contact with you. You can reach us 7 days a week, we'll provide updates and answers to any questions you may have. To help streamline things, here's a brief list of gear and other essentials to bring to the Bow River. RODS & REELS

  • DRIES: 8' - 9' 4wt or 5wt. rod paired with WF floating line

  • NYMPHS/HOPPER DROPPER: 9' 5 - 6wt. rod WF floating line

  • STREAMERS: 9' 6 - 7wt rod with a WF floating line and Sink Tip Line 200GR. or Type 4 - 6 sink rate

  • In some scenarios 8wt. rods will have applications, this will be communicated with you before your trip if it applies. 

GEAR

Regarless of the time of year, we recommend you bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, and a rain jacket on you trip to the Bow River. 

A  valid Alberta fishing license is also mandatory. These can be purchased before your trips online here
