Night Mousing
Most great predators prefer to hunt in low light conditions, it is widely considered that Brown Trout are largely nocturnal. So why not fish when the predatory browns let down their guard and get aggressive? Our night trips begin at twilight typically between 8 and 9pm and last between 5 and 6 hours. We begin night fishing during the stonefly hatch usually mid July and continue until late September. Depending on the season, moon phase and other conditions, trips may also start between 2 and 3am and go into the early morning.

Another major draw to fishing at night is the potential to fish mouse patterns, although this will never be a numbers game on the Bow, it can be some of the most explosive eats you'll ever experience. Mousing is our preferred method when fishing at night but fishing large high contrast streamers on a floating line converts a lot of those splashy blowups that never hook-up, into hooked fish. Both mousing and this particular style of streamer fishing are best executed in low light.
Our night trips are designed to be customizable to meet your needs and ideally increase your chances of encountering a true giant. Contact us to discuss your night fishing trip.
